The secretary of the Podujana Peramuna, Sagala Kariyawasam, saiddespite the decision taken by the President regarding the health
ministry, he will remain in the ministerial post. He further stated hat the life of the President is in the hands of Podujana Peramuna.
Currently, the group that is loyal to the President, representing thePodujana Peramuna, is of the opinion that Keheliya Rambukwella shouldresign from the ministerial position.
Meantime Minister Keheliya Rambukwella has said that he will never resign from the position of Minister of Health and that any party has the opportunity to unite with the opposition and win the impeachment
they present and bring down the government. He has further said that he is ready to face impeachment regardless of any kind of criticism.
