SJB’s MP, Harsha De Silva’s worm problem has gotten well it seems. He was crying alot for the past few days because he was not given the chairmanship of the finance committee. The Sri Lankan media has announced that MP Harsha De Silva has been appointed as the chairman of the finance committee of the Parliament on the orders of President Ranil Rajapaksha. We should take in to thinking of this action of giving him the chairmanship because it was the President who has given the order.

According to the reports, the president has given Harsha De Silva a noose. In short, Harsha De Silva was a staunch supporter of the opposition party , but now has to work for the burden of Ranil hamu.

The opposition leader Sajith hamu always says, the “United people force” will always support the good works of the government.

But now the question is what are the factors they consider when selecting a good work or a bad work of the government?. Normally every proposal brought by the government is passed by a majority of the parliament. The opposition can comment on the good or bad proposals in the parliament. This is what happened to our country for seventy years.

The parliamentary group of Samagi Jana Balawege including the opposition leader Sajith hamu is just like a singing group joint together with the government. Although every now and then they organize meetings for fun and call all the party members to Colombo and slander the government, they disperse happily and it is clear that they have no need in taking the power over the current government or a clear future plan.

But we should not forget that there are certain MP’s in Samagi Jana balawege who want this military frenzy government to end.

More than planning to take over the government, Sajith hamu now has to worry and take steps to prevent the MP’s of his party from becoming pieces of the government. We heard this from an internal source of SJB. The Samagi Jana balawege party is built from the genes of the United Nations Party (UNP). So, there is a high probability of the telephone Mark’s MP’s to throw the genetic telephone and go back to the elephant mark again.

Except for some MP’s of SJB, most of them are greedy for the minister positions. It seems that they are their families won’t be able to survive without these titles. Because of the way Sajith hamu acts and behaves they are unsure about receiving a ministership for the rest of their lives. In that case, it is clear from the news that we are receiving from the opposition that all of them think that it is better to sneak into Ranil hamu’s lap and get a shortcut to a ministership or a deputy ministership.

Ranil hamu and the elephant mark gang is now making calculations to break a part of the parliamentary representations of Samagi Jana balawege and join members of the Sri Lanka podujana peramuna (SLPP) to take over the government again. If this happens the elephant mark set thinks that it will be possible to then add the National vote stock to that pile with the representatives from SJB and SLPP and re-appoint Ranil hamu as the president.

By making Harsha De Silva the chairman of the finance committee, Ranil hamu has shown the green light to SJB as the strategy of the elephant mark set as we mentioned above.

In a way, this is a kind of a trap. Who will be caught in this trap can be seen in the future.

Harsha De Silva, who was struggling without the chairmanship of the finance committee is now overfilled with joy.

But, there is nothing Harsha De Silva can do as the chairman of the finance committee. We state this by taking into means the statement of Ranil hamu.

Ranil hamu has stated the following about appointing of the chairman of the finance committee.

“Since the agreement with the International Money fund has been passed by the parliament, the chairman of the State finance committee should also work in accordance with it.”

MP Harsha De Silva has stated the following regarding his appointment.

“After a tough fight, I got the chairmanship of the state Finance committee again. Due to the questions and interventions, some people tried hard to prevent me from taking that position again as the chairman of the finance committee.

However, inorder for me to receive this position, Samagi Jana balawege and the opposition leader, Sajith Premadasa took a tough fight and directly intervened to get the position for me. In the end, the president himself proposed my name again for that position. I am thankful for those who supported me and I will be committed to provide my services directly and honestly in this committee.”

But all we have to say is oh sorry Harsha, we pity you. We can understand that you were cut out from the “Donkey Trump” card that Ranil hamu put on the field. Now all you have to do is say yes to everything which has been passed by the parliament according to the agreement of the International Money fund and not to do anything else.

Now we only have to ask “Are you fine now MP Harsha?”
