Due the recent exposure by the media of Namal Rajapaksa’s non-payment
of the electricity bill has caused embarrassment to the Rajapaksa
family. But as usual, Namal Rajapakse is bragging that he is clean for
defaulting on the electricity bill.
Stating that Namal Rajapaksas co-ordinating secretary, a written
inquiry was made to the chairman of the Electricity Board about the
bill, as if he knew nothing about it.
During a political meeting MP Namal Rajapaksa MP said that the
Rajapaksa family had nothing to do with the electricity bill.
I have been married for five years now. I just had my second baby last
month. Now there is a gossip about an electricity bill. Until today
neither me nor my father have received such an electricity bill. If
there is an electricity bill, it should come to us, instead of sending
it to each other’s names. If not even when the third baby is born, the
electricity bill gossip will come to the stage. In those days there
were talks that I have a Lamborghini and golden horses. So we have no
problem paying the electricity bill
Namal Rajapaksa, who is bragging like that, still thinks that the
country is full of buffaloes. It is not impossible that Namal thinks,
the people of the country are ready to be deceived and win as they led
his father to a king and the people of the country to scapegoats. But
now the present generation cannot be fooled like before.
Even now, people are trying to find the true story of this light bill.
This electricity bill is in the name of MP. D.V. Chanaka. Namal’s
marriage was arranged by MP D.V. Chanaka.
This Chanaka has sent a letter to the Chairman of the Electricity
Board to get electricity and related equipment for the wedding venue.
So, Namal Rajapaksa has been able to pull off a brag that there is no
electricity bill to his name. By betraying D.V. Chanaka, Namal
Rajapaksa can show that he is clean. This story is also similar to the
“Daisy Aachchi’s menik malla”
D.V. Chanaka is Mahinda Rajapaksa’s own gene. It is Wambotta who kills
D.V Chanaka’s father. Wambotta is Mahinda Rajapaksa’s assailant. We
know a story beyond his fathers name in DV Chanaka’s birth. Therefore,
everyone will be able to watch how Chanaka come forward to pay the
electricity bill for his blood brother.
