Minister of health, Keheliya Rambukwella claims that he is not a person who runs away from being a minister because he is afraid of challenges and that he is ready to face any kind of impeachment brought by the opposition. The minister further said that he has held the responsibilities of eight Ministerial posts and is committed to fulfill the responsibility related to the health of the 22 lakh people of the country.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

He said this today (16) at the constituency board meeting of the Common Front Party (Podujana Peramuna) held in Kundasale.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Meanwhile, the press secretary of the Vanguard party, Pubudu Jagoda, who held a press conference today (16) stated that in the year 2022, minister Keheliya Rambukwella has issued letters to import medicines from 764 unregistered companies in Sri Lanka and that in the last few months of 2023, he has issued five hundred such letters. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The medicine import is done by Keheliya Rambukwella’s daughter’s son in law. He is not a person who knows a thing about medicine. There is also news that one of the president’s close associates receive Commission money when medicines are imported. Therefore it is revealed that Keheliya Rambukwella will not be removed from the position of health Minister.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

As minister Keheliya Rambukwella has stated today in Kundasale, he is not a person who runs away because he is afraid of challenges. But the society’s assessment of him is very contrary to that. In the eyes of many people in this country, he is regarded as an unscrupulous immoral person who doesn’t feel any shame or embarrassment. It is true that the death of thousands of people in this country due to inferior medicines is not a big deal for such a person.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Indeed what Minister Keheliya Rambukwella sees as a serious problem is how to add the amount of money spent on sleeping with a beautiful beauty to the allocation of the head of ministry.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Minister Keheliya Rambukwella will not resign from his position as he has now decided. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
